The Big Fat Cherry Company is a small family owned and operated orchard located in Ripponvale, Cromwell, Central Otago.

We specialise in bringing export quality cherries to the local market. So if you are after premium quality cherries normally only seen leaving the country, then we are the people to contact.

All our cherries are grown on our orchard in Cromwell, picked and packed by ourselves and helpers and sold directly to our customers

You can purchase our "Big Fat Cherries" over the Christmas and New Year period at the following locations

• Christchurch - Ohoka Farmers Market, North Canterbury (Friday mornings)  - Will be at this Friday 30th January 2026 market - last week

• Dunedin - Otago Farmers Market - Dunedin Railway Station (Saturday mornings) All season we will be next to Bacon Butty Stall, Car Park End -  Saturday 31st January 2026. - Last weeked
