The Big Fat Cherry Company is a small family owned and operated orchard located in Ripponvale, Cromwell, Central Otago.

We specialise in bringing export quality cherries to the local market. So if you are after premium quality cherries normally only seen leaving the country, then we are the people to contact.

All our cherries are grown on our orchard in Cromwell, picked and packed by ourselves and helpers and sold directly to our customers

You can purchase our "Big Fat Cherries" over the Christmas and New Year period at the following locations

• Christchurch - Ohoka Farmers Market, North Canterbury (Friday mornings)  - Extra festive Xmas market Tuesday 23rd December 2025. There is no market on Boxing Day Friday 26th December 2025.

• Dunedin - Otago Farmers Market - Dunedin Railway Station (Saturday mornings) All season we will be next to Bacon Butty Stall, Car Park End - Next Market Saturday 27th December  - we won't be at the Tuesday 23rd December  2025 market unfortunately

• Mail Order -   New Year mail order begins Monday January 5th 2026
